STORY
We spent a lot of time coming up with the title, Millions of Pieces. It was really a long process. We didn’t want to use one of the song titles as the album title, and we also didn’t want it to be self-titled. I wanted to find a cool title that would bring the whole project together. I’m not known yet, so I wanted something that was different and unique and would capture people’s attention. I came up with Millions of Pieces because I thought, ‘Each of the songs I write and sing means something different to me. It’s like they’re all pieces of who I am. Sort of like a puzzle. They’re all different -- yet they’re all part of the finished picture.
